Risk Management Specialist jobs in Albany, NY

A healthcare organization in Rockland County is looking to add an experienced professional to join their staff as their new Manager of Risk Management. In this role, the Manager of Risk Management will be responsible for overseeing all of the facility's risk management activities.

Responsibilities:

The Manager of Risk Management will be responsible for:

• Administering the Risk Management program on a day-to-day basis
• Managing and analyzing risk manager data
• Coordinating insurance coverage and risk financing
• Managing claims against the facility
• Interfacing with defense and legal counsel
• Conducting root cause analysis
• Reporting and investigating adverse patient care events, as required
• Perform other duties, as needed

Qualifications:

• 3 years of Risk Management experience
• Bachelor's Degree

• Master's Degree
• NYS Registered Nurse (RN) license
• CPHRM certification
• Previous experience in a Leadership and/or Supervisory role
