    Location
    This is a remote position; however, candidates must be located in the area and have the ability to go onsite if necessary. Candidates need to live in commuting distance to the Ft. Meade, MD, or Chambersburg, PA areas.

    Job Summary

    Newberry Group's Public Sector Division has an immediate need for a Senior Technical Training Specialist specializing in Risk Management Framework, who can support requirements within an Enterprise solution at our client. A strong skill set for researching, reviewing, developing, and delivering training courses. Furthermore, the candidate must have created course surveys and training process guides. The candidate should be skilled with Office 365 products and be 8570 IAT Level I certified.

    Responsibilities and Duties

    Specific responsibilities include the following:

    • Conduct the research necessary to develop and revise training courses and prepare appropriate training catalogs. 
    • Develop all instructor materials (course outline, background material, and training aids). 
    • Develop all student materials (course manuals, workbooks, handouts, completion certificates, and course critique forms). 
    • Train personnel through formal classroom courses, workshops, seminars, and/or computer-based/computer-aided training. Develop a course survey that measures the student’s satisfaction with the contractor’s delivery and management of IT (remote and onsite) and the course content. 
    • Establish a process guide to include standard course structure, course materials, test process, and pass/fail grading criteria. Develop and manage an online SRR Training Course Document Management System/Repository.

    Basic Qualifications and Skills Required

    • Must have experience developing and maintaining course material consisting of computer network, mobility, MS Windows, Unix, Database, Application, and other computer-related courses. Includes maintenance and creation of course material and test questions that validate knowledge of the material. 
    • Requires experience creating course surveys, training process guides, and accompanying course documentation.
    • Experience with Office 365 products, including Word and PowerPoint. 
    • Experience creating and managing deployable images/labs used for hands-on training. 
    • Experience with virtual/online electronic training methods and mechanisms. 
    • Must be able to take initiative, drive the creation and maintenance of training material, and look for ways to improve the delivery of training and training material. 

    Education and Other Requirements

    • Minimum eight years of experience in the required skills listed above.
    • Must hold a Secret Clearance or above.
    • 8570 IAT Level I certifications required.
    • Excellent communication skills (oral and written).
    • Excellent customer service skills.
    • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
    • Excellent documentation skills.
    • Ability to manage multiple tasks.
    • Ability to work individually or as a member of a team.
    • Ability to work under pressure against deadlines.
    • Must be able to pass a background check and drug test.
