Job Title:  Treasury & Risk Management Specialist 

Department:  Accounting 

Status:  Full Time / Exempt  

Reports To:  Treasury & Risk Management Supervisor

Treasury & Risk Specialist Essential Functions: 

• Updates cash flow spreadsheets and works with AP and leadership on cash spend  

• Maintains general journal entries

• Completes sales tax filings 

• Maintains state registrations 

• Updates the system with inventory counts, reviews, and adjustments  

• Assists with advanced bank reconciliation issues 

• Trains other team members on cash applications and sales tax 

• Approves customer initiated ACH’s 

• Assists with branch cash applications 

• Handles lease management software/processes 

• Moderate general ledger knowledge and impact on the financial statements 

• Assists supervisor with the prioritization of team projects and workload  

Minimum Qualifications: 

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent accounting experience  

• Proficient with Microsoft Office 365, including Excel, Teams and Outlook 

• Works well under pressure and achieves deadlines 

• Must be outgoing and have good customer service skills 

• Maintains positive attitude and has great communication with the team 

• Ability to work well in a team environment 

• Ability to work with detailed information accurately 

• Ability to communicate both written and orally
