SUMMARY

Mortenson is looking for a Risk Specialist to provide analytical support in all areas of Risk Management to a variety of team members across the company. The main focus of the position is on providing consistent, high-level support in analysis of the overall risk profile of the company.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Administration of monthly Risk Management Information System (RMIS) conversions – ensuring internal claim records tie-out to Third-Party Administrator (TPA) records
• Administration of captive insurance programs including, but not limited to monthly claim and premium reporting, consulting with third-party actuaries for annual analyses, and support of annual audits
• Coordinate Subcontractor Default Insurance (SDI) project closeouts
• Process Risk Management invoices
• Maintain Risk Management dashboards in Microsoft PowerBI to communicate analytics and metrics to stakeholders
• Excellent organizational and multi-tasking skills, with the ability to manage workload and meet deadlines
• Proficient skills in Microsoft Word, Outlook, Power Point, Excel, and PowerBI or other data visualization tools
• Effective communication and active listening skills 
• Proven positive and professional attitude and strong customer service skills
• Strong leadership, communication, problem solving, initiative, and teamwork skills

QUALIFICATIONS

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, or related field 
• Minimum of one year of professional experience in a finance, accounting, analytics, or administrative support role
• Construction-related business experience preferred but not required
