The Risk Manager reviews and classifies incident reports, conducting incident investigations on a 24 hour basis in accordance with Kentucky State Law. They will maintain the investigative process with gathering evidence, conducting interviews, collecting written statements, and compiling investigative reports. This person will need to conduct on-call duties as required which includes availability for calls after business hours. The Risk Manager assists with quality improvement of facility investigations including quality reviews of performance improvement, Client Protection requirements, and compliance with Licensing and Regulations standards. This person also serves as liaison between facility and community agencies related to incident investigations including arranging for staff interviews and gathering of business documents. They will also prepare and maintain records and reports.

Required Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED required; Bachelor’s degree in a Human Services or Health Care field strongly preferred
• Designation as a Professional Certified Investigator preferred
• Valid driver’s licenses, reliable operating transportation and proof of current auto insurance
• Ability to meet criminal background, drug screening, and COVID-19 vaccine standards
