Risk Manager manages and administers an organization's risk-management programs. Implements policies, procedures, and controls to monitor and minimize the risk exposure of assets. Being a Risk Manager researches internal and external risk factors including economic, market, and regulatory risks that may affect the organization. Routinely evaluates the effectiveness of procedures and collaborates with internal stakeholders to monitor changes in the business environment. Additionally, Risk Manager manages statistical analysis and designing of financial models to predict the risk exposure of an organization's assets. Reviews risk analysis reports to ensure risks are identified and managed effectively. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a director. The Risk Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. To be a Risk Manager typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1-3 years supervisory experience may be required.     The HR Manager (HRM) position is responsible for aligning business objectives between employees and management in designated business units. The position formulates partnerships across the HR function to deliver value-added service to management and employees that reflects the business objectives of the organization.


    Core Duties and Responsibilities:

    • Responsible for all aspects of the recruiting, interviewing, hiring, on-boarding, and training functions to support the company.
    • Maintain internal staffing modules and be an expert in those modules.
    • Maintain knowledge of industry trends and employment legislations to ensure company compliance.
    • Participate in evaluation and monitoring of training programs to ensure success. Follow up to ensure training objectives are met.
    • Maintain updates to SOPP and Employee Handbook.
    • Provides guidance and input on business unit restructures, workforce planning, and succession planning.
    • Supports and represents a culture of engagement, collaboration, and teamwork. Acts as a role model to the team members in their respective regions and companywide.
    • Establishes and maintains department records and reports.
    • Evaluate and advise Senior Management on issues that present risk to the company.
    • Perform other duties as assigned.

    Minimum Qualifications:

    • 4-year Degree Preferred, High school or equivalent required
    • Minimum of 4 years’ HR Management experience
    • 5 years’ experience in Federal employment law
    • Excellent computer skills: Microsoft Office, advanced Excel skills
    • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
    • Ability to establish priorities, work independently, and proceed with objectives with minimal supervision
    • Ability to meet deadlines as required
    • Ability to troubleshoot and maintain consistency

    Essential Physical Requirements:

    • Must be able to work from a sitting position for extended periods of time.

    • Must be able to work in a cubical environment during the workday with limited or no distraction.
