Risk Modeling Manager oversees the strategic business analysis modeling activities involved in an organization's credit risk management function. Develops and evaluates systems associated with controlling credit risk. Being a Risk Modeling Manager determines strategies and policies that maximize profits and asset growth, and minimize credit and operating losses and other risk exposure. Requires a bachelor's degree. Additionally, Risk Modeling Manager typically reports to top management. The Risk Modeling Manager manages a departmental sub-function within a broader departmental function. Creates functional strategies and specific objectives for the sub-function and develops budgets/policies/procedures to support the functional infrastructure. The FFIO and Corporate Services Risk Team within the Fidelity Risk Group is looking for a passionate, hard-working team member to help support the business in identifying, monitoring, and mitigating risks in order protect the interests of the firm and our customers. The Risk Manager is responsible for protecting Fidelity’s customers and deepening their trust in Fidelity by partnering with the business to identify risks and develop innovative solutions to enhance controls, while fostering a strong risk mindset within the business. To execute on this goal, the team is responsible for identifying, assessing, and reporting on significant risks and helping management improve the control environment.
The Team
Our team provides Business Unit Risk support to subset of Fidelity’s Corporate Functions, including Corporate Accounting and Corporate Tax and the Fund Billing & Expense team within Fund Operations within Fidelity Fund and Investment Operations (FFIO).
This role is part of a larger Risk team that supports other groups within FFIO, as well as a variety of Fidelity’s Corporate Functions, including Fidelity Real Estate Company, Corporate Treasury, Procurement, and Enterprise Human Resources.
