We are seeking an individual with strong retail leadership qualities, enthusiasm, and an entrepreneurial spirit to join our escape room team. You will assist with managing a team of approximately 15-20 employees and be responsible for providing an inviting and entertaining atmosphere for our customers as well as maintaining a safe, organized, and productive work environment and culture for your staff. You will report directly to the Store Manager. Our dual-focus is on providing top-notch customer service to each and every guest while constantly seeking ways to innovate and improve in all aspects of the business through metrics measurement, goal setting, and continuous learning and growth.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- Earned or working towards a 2-year associates degree in a related field or 2 years relevant experience
- 2 years customer service experience
- 2 years supervisory experience
- Reliable transportation
- Flexible schedule
- Computer and social media experience (Microsoft, etc.)
- Excellent communication, public speaking, and problem-solving skills
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assist with meeting sales goals by training, motivating, mentoring and providing feedback to staff and leadership team
- Ensure high levels of customers satisfaction through 5-star customer service
- Assist with completing store administration and ensure compliance with policies and procedures
- Maintain outstanding store condition and visual merchandising standards
- Assist with conducting personnel performance reviews/appraisals to assess training needs and build career paths
- Handle issues that arise from staff or customers (complaints, grievances, etc.)
- Be a shining example of enthusiastic behavior and high performance
- Answer phone calls and emails
- Provide guest relations to individuals and groups through hosting games, taking reservations, etc.
- General maintenance/repair of props as needed
- Assist with recruiting, hiring, and creating work schedules for staff
- Other duties as assigned by store manager and senior leadership
- Possible paid travel (as needed)
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $15.00 - $17.50 per hour
Expected hours: 35 – 40 per week
