Position Title: Media Supervisor

Position Summary/General Description:
A Media Supervisor provides support for all corporate marketing, special events, advertising, and public relations programs.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

Assist in the development and execution of the company’s advertising campaigns to promote awareness and build business.

Support Public Relations & Advertising/Marketing in the development and execution of LDC’s marketing efforts including:
-
Gather information to open projects for creative teams
-
Clearly communicate and outline details related to marketing projects to marketing staff, vendors and in- house clients
-
Organize in-house agency process and procedures
-
Manage the creation of all advertising, collateral materials and in-house audio/video through the use of internal advertising agency and internal audio/video technicians.
-
Review and approve, with the Director of Marketing and Marketing Manager, television, radio and print advertising prior to release.

Oversee communication with vendors including printers, copywriters, producers, installers, talent and media to:
-
Acquire quotes to competitively bid & award marketing projects as approved by manager
-
Process purchase orders for all approved marketing projects
-
Input invoices for payment and reviews billing for accuracy
-
Meet departmental financial objectives by forecasting requirements, preparing an annual budget, scheduling expenditures, analyzing variances, and initiating corrective actions.

Supervise traffic of marketing projects to vendors, in-house clients and media.
-
Send weekly broadcast schedules to media

Distribute approved print and interactive ads to publications and interactive media vendors
-
Communicate installation dates and locations to vendors for OOH and point-of-purchase signage

Assign delivery locations and distribution of marketing materials and collateral

Organizes in-house agency project work flow
-
Maintain and distributes weekly project status sheets
-
Provide updates on job progress and completion to vendors and in-house teams
-
Organize marketing jobs to ensure all projects are appropriately filed and accessible to the marketing team.

Write copy as needed for various marketing projects including radio spots, signage, print ads, billboards, etc.

Supervise the implementation and execution of special events, casino and media promotions and any other marketing related special projects as needed.

At all times maintain a courteous, positive and professional working relationship with all LDC personnel and the general public (e.g., clients and vendors).

Work under pressure; maintain regular and punctual attendance including working odd and unusual hours, weekends and holidays.
-
Maintain creativity, flexibility, and work under pressure.
-
Maintain strong organizational and communication skills including time management and planning.
-
Maintain strong writing skills.

Maintain knowledge of casino operations.

Maintain up to date knowledge and strictly adhere to the Pueblo of Laguna Gaming Control Board/Tribal Gaming Regulatory Authority rules and regulations, Federal controls, and State controls as they relate to the Marketing Department.

Make analytical and professional decisions confidently an accurately.

Read, write and speak English in order to respond to common inquiries from customers and/or co-workers.

Actively participate in Management Development Leadership Series (MDLS) yearly.

Actively participate in LDC Management Capacity Program as required.

Perform additional duties and responsibilities as necessary or assigned.
Education & Experience:
- BA or BS Degree in Marketing or Communications or the equivalent combination of education and/or work experience required.
- Minimum 3 years’ experience working in creative, media or advertising agency preferred
- Casino experience preferred.
- Must have demonstrated leadership ability.
- Experience in working with advertising agency required.
Licensing & Certification:
Computer Equipment, Software, Machinery:

Proficient in basic computer skills (e.g., Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).

Proficient with basic office equipment (e.g., computer, photocopying and faxing).

This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.

Obtain and maintain a gaming license through the Pueblo of Laguna’s Gaming Control Board and must provide/maintain a valid New Mexico drivers’ license.
