SAFE Security has primarily night-time schedules, which include working weekends and holidays. Certain job sites may require walking or standing for long periods of time. State of Washington, Department of Licensing requires each Security Officer to pass an entrance examination, as well as provide finger-printing. A background check of each applicant is performed by the Washington State Patrol, searching national crime records. Security Officer positions are primarily solo positions, which require self-motivation and integrity. Officers are unarmed and prohibited from carrying any type of weapons while on duty. Officers also do not hold any powers of arrest, other than Citizen’s Arrest. Each Officer must possess a valid driver’s license. Drug testing will be required. Daily access to e-mail is mandatory.
