Salary Wage Range: 13 $41,600 - $49,920

Summary:

• Supports Deposit Operations Management by providing clerical support and branch/operations staff assistance.

Essential Functions and Duties:

• Serves as primary point of contact for branch support.
• Answers the Deposit Operations Department Hunt phone line, assisting branch staff with questions and various operational procedures and system maintenance.
• Supports and assists in deposit operations reports, processes and procedures.
• Processes Asset Verification Services (AVS) requests.
• Reports operational concerns to Operations Management.
• Reviews and verifies all check holds placed.
• Processes Garnishments / Levies
• Generates and distributes CD renewal letters.
• Performs general ledger reconciliation daily.
• Review and process batches in Synergy queue.   
• Updated Customer Military lending status in ILS system.
• Processes daily mobile deposit enrollments and mobile check deposits.
• Processes monthly safe deposit box discounts.
• Processes monthly IOLTA/IRETA remittance.
• Processes Smart Money Interest Adjustments.
• Processes SDB/Acct Maintenance Corrections.
• Merges duplicate customer profiles as requests are made.
• Updates customer profiles with Date of Death (DOD) notifications.
• Processes daily fee reversals.

Key Interfaces:

• Branch Operations Managers, Branch Staff, Back-office Staff, District Managers, Deposit Operations Staff, Deposit Operations Manager and External Customers.

• Understanding of Timberland Bank operations policies, procedures and guidelines.
• Ability to prioritize and organize tasks.
• Proven problem solving skills.
• Ability to work with little supervision - self-starter.
• Attention to detail and accuracy.
• Adaptability to new processes and software applications.
• Flexibility in work, travel and schedule.
• Willingness to serve where needed.

Education and Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of 3 years of banking experience required.

Physical Demands:

To successfully perform the essential duties of this position, an individual must be able to sit or stand for eight or more hours a day, and use office equipment, including phones and computer keyboards, for eight or more hours per day and occasionally lift up to 20 pounds. Individuals must be able to engage clients over the phone and in-person by voice.
