Safety/Loss Prevention Manager - Construction is responsible for developing, maintaining, and managing the safety and loss prevention program for a company's construction department. This is a part-time position, up to 35 hours per week. The Assistant Manager is a member of the Center for Family Violence Prevention and is responsible for assisting the My Sister’s Closet Manager with management of the store. The Assistant Manager is responsible for assisting in carrying out the goals and objectives of My Sister’s Closet. Must be able to work some Saturdays.

Primary Duties/Functions:
· Responsible for the supervision of store employees in absence of manager
· Responsible for the duties of Store Manager in his/her absence
· Responsible for sorting, storing & pricing merchandise
· Responsible for the flow of inventory ensuring that merchandise is appropriately priced and placed on sales floor quickly
· Responsible for maintaining control of donations, ensuring that donations are accepted using established guidelines
· Assist Manager with supervision of interns and volunteers
· Responsible for maintaining confidential status of donors
· Responsible for purchases of supplies for store with approval of Store Manager
· Responsible for maintenance and cleanliness of store facility
· Balance register daily ensuring accuracy of the deposit and monthly reports
· Assume other responsibilities as assigned by the Store Manager or Executive Director
Qualifications:
· Highschool Diploma or GED
· General understanding of the principal of retail sales
· One year customer service experience
· Strong communication skills
· Ability to lift 20 pounds
