Safety/Loss Prevention Manager - Construction jobs in Wilmington, DE

Windle Design & Construction is a design-build construction company seeking a Project Manager skilled in residential remodel projects. This candidate will have 10 years experience in the construction industry, with a vast understanding of all phases of remodel construction. The Project Manager will lead assigned projects, supervise on-site carpenters and subcontractors, coordinate with clients, and manage the full project scope including project schedule, budget, and all expectations. Seeking a candidate who is self motivated and a responsible leader, team player, and an individual who takes pride in his/her craftsmanship. being a representative of a family-owned company. This position is full-time, salaried, eligible for full health benefits, and 401k matched program and bonuses base on efficiency of the company. Qualifications:

• Ability to supervise laborers, carpenters, and subcontractors. Make work assignments, monitor quality, and motivate crew.
• Expedite timely completion of the work to maintain schedule and budget goals. Monitor and ensure profitability of assigned project throughout the duration.
• Ability to read and properly interpret paperwork, including all architectural plans and specifications, and shop drawings.
• Ability to clearly communicate discrepancies and troubleshoot field issues.
• Ability to create detailed and accurate material take offs and properly order materials in advance as required to complete each scheduled task.
• Schedule field staff, train and mentor carpenters and apprentices
• Maintain excellent client communication and keep positive attitude throughout the project.
• Builder Trend experience a plus
