    Regular, Full Time
    Position Pays based on experience, ranges from $20.00-$23.00/ Hour

    DiVal Safety Equipment, a leader in the Fire, EMS, and Industrial Safety Equipment distribution business, is looking for a self-motivated individual to install, maintain, trouble shoot and repair breathing air systems at customer’s locations.   Equipment includes high pressure compressor systems, air cascade units and truck mounted systems.  To provide excellent customer service and technical support.  To ensure the highest quality of workmanship and professionalism within our Fire Service Division with a focus in the Laurel Springs area.

    Duties and Responsibilities:

    • Focus on safety – safety training and direction must be always adhered to.
    • Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair breathing air compressor systems at customer locations.
    • Work closely with customers to ensure their systems are operating efficiently and safely.
    • Provide excellent customer service and technical support.
    • Maintain accurate part inventories ensuring suitable stock for repairs and maintenance.
    • Interact with customers, addressing their concerns and assisting with equipment-related issues.
    • Coordinate daily schedules with supervisors and management, working as part of a team.
    • Responsible for prompt arrival at customer facilities prepared to perform required services on equipment according to established safety requirements.  
    • Prepare and submit all necessary daily paperwork in a timely manner as required.
    • Effectively communicate any issues/problems with management
    • Perform additional duties that may arise and assigned by management.

     Skills and Requirements: 

    • Mechanical ability and sound trouble shooting skills.  Further training will be provided.
    • A strong background in mechanical and electrical systems is preferred. 
    • Proficiency in using hand tools.
    • Capacity to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
    • Willingness to travel to customer sites and work flexible hours as required.
    • Able to lift and carry SCBA equipment (up to 50 lbs.)
    • Excellent communication skills, always representing DiVal Safety in a professional and positive manner.
    • Detail oriented with strong organizational skills.
    • Available to travel daily including overnights as deemed necessary based on workload scheduling.
    • Flexibility – willingness and ability to respond to changing workload and priorities.
    • Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record
    • High school degree or GED with basic computer skills
