About the role

We have an exciting opportunity at our Stuttgart, Arkansas manufacturing facility for someone with a passion for employee health and safety.  The Safety Technician will assist with the execution of safety programs, perform inspections, and help support employees and leaders with safety related topics.

What You’ll Do

• Identify potential hazards by being active on the shop floor and helping to develop strategies to minimize risks.
• Conduct regular safety inspections and audits.
• Collaborate with management to develop and implement safe work practices.
• Communicate safety information to management and employees.
• Assist EHS Professionals and EHS Manager with execution of safety programs and initiatives.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a safety-related role
• Experience working independently and making decisions in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)

Top candidates will also have:

• Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as occupational health and safety or industrial hygiene.
• Experience in a large, 24/7 manufacturing operation.
• Professional Safety Certification(s)
