We are looking for a Fire Alarm Service Technician to join our experienced team in the Virginia Beach area.

Job Responsibilities

As a Fire Alarm Service Technician, you will be responsible for service, testing, and Installation of fire alarm systems and devices.

Additional responsibilities of the Fire Alarm Technician include:

· Install and basic programming of fire alarm systems and devices

· Inspection of fire alarm and related systems

· Working knowledge of low voltage electrical systems

· Troubleshoot and repair alarm system malfunctions

· Maintain accurate records of service calls and completed work

· Customer service, coordination, and communication

· Technical fire protection system project and administrative support

· Ability to work independently or supervise others as required

· Solid troubleshooting skills

Job Requirements

To qualify for the Fire Alarm Technician position, you must have a minimum of 5 years’ experience working with fire alarm systems.

Additional requirements of the Fire Alarm Technician Position include:

· NICET Certification Fire Alarm Level 1 or higher preferred

· Proficiency with computer skills, MS Excel, Email

· Strong customer service skills and communications

· Familiarity with NFPA (National Fire Protection Association) and local codes

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
