NITCO is looking for a high energy individual that loves to sell, succeed and interact with customers and the community. The Account Executive is responsible for increasing revenue by identifying and selling to prospects in northwest Indiana and surrounding communities that can be served by NITCO.
Essential Functions
- Responsible for locating new revenue opportunities for the company by visiting existing and new customers.
- Responsible for meeting or exceeding individual sales goals established by management.
- Responsible for developing quotes, proposals for presentation and signing customers to contracts for service.
- Has direct contact with people at all levels, both internally and externally, and works with customers’ procurement, engineering and installation.
- Must be responsive to the customers’ needs and follow through on all aspects of request, both written and verbal.
- Works closely with the business unit managers when responding to a request for proposal (RFP) to inform them of market conditions, pricing issues and the current competition.
- Makes presentations to various groups within the customer’s organization when needed
- Acts as technical representative to the customer during the initial contact
- Attends trade shows along with different conferences, both educational and customer oriented.
- Utilize NITCO CRM- Salesforce and DocuSign and other NITCO Programs.

Work Environment
This job operates out in the field as well as an office environment. Remote work as required to perform sales requirements. Office Hours as needed.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work/Travel
This is a full-time exempt position, and hours of work and days are flexible as needed however the employee must be available during the “core” work hours of 8:00am-5:00pm and must work a minimum of 40 hours each week. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand. Travel is primarily local during the business day, although some out-of-the-area and overnight travel may be expected. This position requires up to 40% local travel.
Required Education and Experience
-3 Years outside sales experience preferred.
-Bachelor’s degree preferred.
Compensation/Benefits
Competitive Salary with Commission and benefits, based on experience, training & education. Working from home is optional but reporting to the office when needed is required. Onboarding and training regimen will be established. Company laptop and cell phone provided, vehicle, medical, 401k, NITCO internet, TV and voice services if available at home residence.
