DiMillo’s Yacht Sales is a professional yacht dealership and brokerage firm with five locations stretching along the east coast including Freeport, Portland & Kennebunk, Maine; Glen Cove, New York and West River and Oxford, Maryland. DiMillo’s has been providing yacht sales expertise since 1998, and represents new yachts from Sabre Yachts, Back Cove Yachts, Tiara Yachts and MJM Yachts. In addition to new and pre-owned yacht sales, DiMillo’s is proud to have a full-time, year-round service team that focuses efforts on their new and brokerage buyers. The service team’s capabilities include all aspects of commissioning new vessels, yacht repair and in-house captain services.

Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled, energetic, and experienced Assistant Service Manager to join our team at our marina in Oxford, MD. This position has a mix of administrative task, as wells as, 'hands on' tasks in the marina.

This is a leadership role that requires strong organizational skills, strong communication skills, and a passion for boating and customer service. Additional experience with bookkeeping and parts management is preferred.

Duties:

• Receive parts orders from technicians and place parts orders with suppliers. Track parts and distribute to service technicians.
• Organize and categorize parts physically, as well as, using the accounting system to properly assign. Reorder consumables as we run low.
• Work order creation, updates, and closeouts. Receive service requests for customers (retail) and internal requests (Prep), and create work orders in database.
• Warranty liaison for warranty issues with manufacturer. Submit warranty requests, understand best practices for repairs, receive and catalog parts for repairs.
• Invoice creation
• Errand running, part runs
• Misc. tasks around the facility (trash removal, light maintenance, boat yard tasks)
• As needed, support the marina by receiving guests. Help getting them tied up and familiar with the facility and the town of Oxford.
• Additional items as assigned.

Experience:

• Previous experience working in the marine industry or boating experience in general.
• Familiarity with dealership management systems or similar software
• Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team
• Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to handle difficult situations professionally
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail

Pay: $20.00 - $27.00 per hour
