Sales Manager manages the sales teams and supporting operations required to implement the organizational sales strategy, drive revenue growth, and accomplish financial objectives. Implements processes, tools, and structures to support the sales organization's operations. Being a Sales Manager conducts long-term and short-term goal setting for teams and individuals and uses data to measure and monitor sales processes, identify issues, and enhance performance. Monitors the industry, business environment, competitors, and customers to develop action plans for expanding and retaining the customer base. Additionally, Sales Manager uses customer feedback and insights to collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify and suggest new products. Builds and develops effective sales and support teams with recruiting, mentoring, and training. Participates in meetings, presentations, and demos to support or close strategic or high-value sales. Typically requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a director. The Sales Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. To be a Sales Manager typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1 - 3 years supervisory experience may be required.     As a Hospitality Specialist you will be working in your local assigned territory and responsible for promoting our full product suite while building positive relationships with local business & restaurant owners to help take their businesses to the next level. We're looking for motivated individuals with an entrepreneurial spirit who excel at developing new relationships, deeply understand SMB's biggest challenges, and have the drive to make a significant impact in their local communities. 

    Responsibilities: 

    • Be a local representative for SpotOn in your community by offering advanced technology to local business owners that will help run and grow their businesses
    • Travel to and from client sites within a designated geographical territory to prospect, build relationships, and sign up new local business owners and merchants
    • Manage the full sales cycle from start to finish with a growing portfolio of clients
    • Hit sales targets, with a particular focus on selling software & point-of-sale solutions along with payment processing
    • Work closely with our extended Sales Support team to help reach your monthly sales performance goals

    Qualifications:

    • 2 years of B2B sales experience with an emphasis on small business owners, merchants and restaurants
    • Proven track record delivering against sales goals with a metrics-oriented, need-to-win attitude
    • Excellent cold calling, prospecting and territory buildout experience
    • Proficient in Salesforce as a CRM is a plus
    • Maintain and manage the client relationship in collaboration with our internal support teams to ensure the success & satisfaction of your customer portfolio
    • The ability to learn technology basics and apply them to business situations
    • Ability to embrace feedback and hold yourself accountable

    Compensation & Benefits:
