We are recruiting for an Outside Sales Representative based in the Baltimore, Maryland, area. The successful candidate will sell our clients' Medical Devices. Our client is an innovative leader in the Surgical Magnification/Illumination industry. Their products are used daily worldwide during lifesaving microsurgical operations and cutting-edge dental procedures.
This position is for applicants with 1-3 years of successful sales or related professional work experience. We would consider an entry-level recent college graduate candidate with the right background.
Territory: Includes Baltimore and surrounding suburbs, Northern MD, and the Eastern Shore, Southeast, PA., Southern NJ, and Delaware, including 1-3 monthly overnights.
You will join a growing company and sell our client's surgical and dental visual enhancement. You will call on surgeons, hospitals, operating rooms, dentists, dental hygienists, surgical residency programs, dental schools, dental hygienist schools, and ophthalmologists.
Travel: This is a home-based position, and the monthly requirements are 30%, 1-3 Overnights per month. You will cover the entire territory. You will also fly and attend work conferences and trade shows 4 to 6 times yearly.
Responsibilities and Duties: 85% of your activity will involve following up on leads provided by the company. You will also meet with medical doctors, dental professionals, and hygienists who want to see you throughout your exclusive territory. In addition, our client attends several dozen professional conferences each year. The sales representatives will work at these meetings, typically four to six annually.
Qualifications and Skills: The candidate must possess a Bachelor's Degree, be organized and self-motivated, have excellent communication skills, and be able to work independently. They must also enjoy travel.
