Sales Manager manages the sales teams and supporting operations required to implement the organizational sales strategy, drive revenue growth, and accomplish financial objectives. Implements processes, tools, and structures to support the sales organization's operations. Being a Sales Manager conducts long-term and short-term goal setting for teams and individuals and uses data to measure and monitor sales processes, identify issues, and enhance performance. Monitors the industry, business environment, competitors, and customers to develop action plans for expanding and retaining the customer base. Additionally, Sales Manager uses customer feedback and insights to collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify and suggest new products. Builds and develops effective sales and support teams with recruiting, mentoring, and training. Participates in meetings, presentations, and demos to support or close strategic or high-value sales. Typically requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a director. The Sales Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. To be a Sales Manager typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1 - 3 years supervisory experience may be required.     In 1925 Johnson Motors Sales was founded with the basic principle to take care of each and every customer. Joye Johnson, for whom the dealership is named after, taught us this principle which has stayed key to our success for almost 100 years. 

    Today we are a 4th generation owned dealership that started with Curt Anderson in 1950. Curt first started working for Joye as a technician and eventually became the General Manager after holding numerous positions. In 1983, Curt purchased the dealership, and it has been run by the Anderson Family ever since. Since that time, we have grown into 4 dealerships that reach Northwestern Wisconsin and Minnesota. 

    Our goals still to this day continue to focus on what Joye and Curt taught us. Curt has said it best that "It's your present customers that give you your future ones".
