Essential Duties / Responsibilities
- Estimates values according to knowledge of market price.
- Responsible for the pricing, negotiation and contact with customers on sales of aluminum ingot
- Responsible for the follow-up to ensure price is correctly invoiced, received and account receivable management to oversee overdue payment and credit limit for each customer.
- Responsible for creating and renewing the credit limit application for each customer according to the account receivable management policy.
- Report, consult and inform daily activity of sales as needed.
- Tracks customer orders and contracts through Excel and/or Gokin.
- Reviews outgoing paperwork as needed.
- Maintain contact with outside sources to ensure good customer service.
- Visits customers as needed.
- Ability to adhere to work schedule and follow through on challenges as they arise.
This position is not normally labor intensive, however, is does require the ability to stand or sit for extended periods of time and occasionally may require lifting, up to 50 lbs. of equipment and or materials. Periodic travel and work outside of normal business hours may be required to complete essential duties, projects, customer visits, training etc. Working Conditions This position primarily works in an office environment. However, when in the manufacturing areas the chance for injury is present, work exposure could exist in cold and hot areas, even areas close to molten metal furnaces. Therefore, special attention to the work environment and areas surrounding the production equipment is critical.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university is preferred or 5 plus years relevant working experience in a manufacturing and sales environment or an equivalent combination of both education and experience.
- Ability to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization, present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, and customers.
- Read, analyze, and interpret technical specifications; Ability to write reports and business correspondence.
- Knowledge and ability in the use of a personal computer and software applications (e.g. Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, etc.). Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
