With an eye towards growth, tango is seeking a dynamic and experienced Business Development and Sales Support Director to focus on driving revenue through relationships with health insurance plans, risk-based entities, and integrated delivery systems. Reporting to the Chief Growth Officer, this leader will provide the strategic and tactical sales execution and leadership necessary to establish tango as a market leader and valued partner to its customers.
He / She will be a key member of the team and will be an essential part of building and executing the plan and process for successful sales. The immediate focus for the role will be to manage tango’s pipeline ensuring the organization meet its growth targets.
Job Duties:
- Working with the Chief Growth Officer, managing efficient sales processes and evolving value proposition
- Maintain go to market strategy inclusive of prioritization of markets for growth and sales playbook (inclusive of prioritized markets, target payor profile & membership map, relationship mapping, right sales pitch/messaging, provider landscape)
- Manage the overall sales pipeline across internal staff, board members, and business development partners
- Accountable for tracking and reporting on value creation / business targets related to sales KPIs
- Leverage market research and direct outreach to maintain pipeline
- Create external conference and speaking engagement strategy and materials for business development
- Provide customer feedback to internal teams on areas of product development
- Lead initiatives to drive awareness, conversion, and contract negotiation with target plans, presenting company solutions in front of relevant audiences
- Profitably grow revenue for the business
- Prepare accurate and timely reports on overall progress and customers satisfaction
- Produce board sales reports

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- Previous sales and/or sales management required
- Previous business development experience required
- Must possess understanding of health care, health care insurance strongly desired
- 8 years of work experience
- Must have a strong knowledge of Medicare preferred
- Demonstrated track record of consultatively selling a complex set of services
- Strong organizational skills and including detail oriented; closely knows the pipeline and project status
- A producer with high work ethic and focused loyalty to the company’s success
- Demonstrated curiosity in problem solving and resolution
- Critical thinking, strategy, high level of social and emotional intelligence
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Knowledge of Sales Force
