About us

We are HIRING RIGHT AWAY--currently looking for a full-time bartender with serving shifts also available. The bartender makes drinks as well as takes care of guests. We are looking for at least 20/hrs a week with shifts being 4-5 hours. There is always potential for more shifts by picking up shifts. Tips will be your main source of income, with the average being $25-35/hr depending on your serving ability (more on weekends). Bartenders also get tipped out 10% of bar sales during evenings.

Oishii is a high quality sushi restaurant in downtown Powell, Ohio, an affluent community just north of Columbus. We are a full service, sit-down restaurant complete with dining room, alcohol, bar, and sushi bar. We take pride in our attention to detail and quality food and service! We also try our best to staff with young, energetic, personable and fun people that work efficiently. Discounts on food and alcohol are also available for employees.

We require applicants to be at least 21 years of age for the purpose of handling alcohol. And we also require at least 1 year of prior experience as a bartender as well as serving experience. You will be valued and treated fairly and we would love to have you!

Bartenders should be quick, with a good work ethic and professionalism as well as personality. Some days are more relaxed, but the rush time will be high-volume and fast-paced.

Responsibilities:

• Mix and serve wine, beer, and cocktails to patrons in compliance with Department of Health and Human Services regulations.
• Prepare garnishes, imbibe beverages, and garnishes according to customers' needs and preferences.
• Be able to explain dishes to wait staff and customers.

Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour
