Sales Representative interacts with new or existing customers to increase sales of an organization's products or services. Researches and profiles potential sales targets to evaluate leads and develop sales pipelines. Being a Sales Representative utilizes proven sales techniques to initiate contact, assess customer needs, and present relevant solutions that generate revenue for the organization. Prepares and delivers presentations or demonstrations that educate and expose the customer to offerings and drive the sales process. Additionally, Sales Representative troubleshoots and resolves issues in the sales process, ensuring a smooth transaction and positive experience for customers. Maintains a thorough understanding of company products and services, competitor positioning, and industry standards. May require a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager. The Sales Representative work is closely managed. Works on projects/matters of limited complexity in a support role. To be a Sales Representative typically requires 0-2 years of related experience.     Job Summary
    Alfa Insurance sales representatives are team players that take exceptional pride in the company they represent, the products they sell and in providing excellent customer service. They assist the company and agents in performing sales and clerical function necessary to write and service our existing customers as well as striving to increase business. 
     
    Responsibilities 
    •  Responsible for prospecting new business in multi-line insurance, quoting and binding policies, handling customer inquiries, documenting requests and completing changes, accept and process premiums and dues in a membership organization.
    • Service to members includes strong communication skills on multiple platforms, conflict resolutions skills, ability to quickly learn new computer programs and processes. Proficient at adapting to a constantly changing, extremely fast-paced environment.
    • Provide support to the agent and service center staff as needed.
    • Make decisions to determine applicant insurability and placement using competent skills in binding and processing applications.
    • Ensure effective operation of the service center including but not limited to: reports, documentation, and mail distribution.
    Qualifications
    • High school diploma or equivalent required
    • Attain Property and Casualty license within 90 days of hire (we provide training)
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office programs and have an aptitude for learning new programs and procedures
    • Team player with a positive, professional attitude
