Sales Support Director establishes the sales support process, develops an infrastructure of systems and tools, and directs support operations. Ensures that sales teams receive the tools and resources needed for smooth operations. Develops and implements promotional events to increase sales volume. Additionally, Sales Support Director may provide oversight of sales incentive or commission programs.     Summary:
    Under general direction of the VP of Support Services, directs and oversees daily operations and priorities for support service programs, staff and projects.

    Responsibilities:
    Directs and coordinates daily operations and priorities for support service programs, staff and projects; areas supervised may include Biomed, Environmental Services, Housekeeping, Laundry, Safety, Emergency Management, Security, Food and Nutrition, Clinical Dieticians, Patient Transport, Projects, and other duties as assigned. Develops strategic plans and tactical goals for Support Services; determines scope and priorities of projects; coordinates resources required to achieve goals. Manages special projects as required. Compiles and analyzes data. Prepares and reviews a variety of records, reports and other documents. Develops and monitors budgets and contracts. Monitors and manages the operational and financial performance of designated departments and resources. Provides ongoing assessment of operating results, and facilitates processes that result in the elimination of duplicate resources. Manages and schedules assigned staff. Develops goals and priorities, and assigns tasks and projects. Develops staff skills and training plans. Counsels, trains and coaches staff. Implements corrective actions and conducts performance evaluations. Provides leadership, direction and guidance in management strategies and procedures. Meets regularly with staff to resolve workload and technical issues. Directs the development and administration of standards, policies, and procedures for support services program activities, space allocation/use, and assures compliance with all regulatory requirements. In collaboration with the Contracting and Purchasing Departments, reviews and recommends external vendors for contractual services, makes recommendations for contract performance, specifically responsible for tracking and adjusting for adherence to scope, schedule, and budget to ensure timely deliverables and efficient delivery of contracted services. Participates in formalized professional developmental activities both on the ANMC campus and at other facilities and organizations, as assigned by the Hospital Administration. Capable of resolving escalated issues arising from operations and requiring coordination with other departments. Promotes business, facility, strategic and financial organizational improvements. Manages special projects as required. Compiles and analyzes data. Prepares and reviews a variety of records, reports and other documents. Ensures continuous quality improvement. Develops and monitors budgets. Performs other duties as assigned.

    M INIMUM EDUCATION QUALIFICATION
    M aster’s Degree in Healthcare Administration or related field. Progressively responsible professional work-related experience, education, or training may be substituted on a year-for-year basis for college education.
    M INIMUM EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATION
    S upervisory – Six (6) years of progressive healthcare management experience. An equivalent combination of relevant education and/or training may be substituted for experience.
    A DDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS
    M ay be required to work outside the traditional work schedule.
    M ay be called out to work off-shift in emergency situations.
    A ccording to the needs of the organization, some incumbents in this job class may be required to obtain specific technical certifications and programming language skills.
