Paducah Plays will help kids learn ambulatory motion through games that is geared towards preparing them for the US Youth Soccer Game or other sports. Paducah Plays brings excitement and energy to growing a passion for fun and learning in the participants. The methodology and environment will be inclusive to any skill level, and encourage growth through experiential play. Paducah Plays strives to make every occassion to be a part of soccer as the beautiful game. At the very center of everything is a very important word that almost requires fun. We call soccer a game, Joga Bonita. Kids will experience games and plyometric exercises to help them become more familiar with athletic movements and soccer touches. The curriculm is designed to progress in an 10-week program that will help kids learn mechanical ambulation through games in the context of soccer. The curriculum has been designed by Paducah plays in conjunction with US soccer learning principles and over 50 years of coaching and playing experience from the staff.

We are seeking a highly motivated Trainer to join Paducah Plays. As a Trainer, you will be responsible for providing ambulatory learning in a fun environment. Kids will learn sharing, taking turns, and general socialization skills all while being active. The focus will be through soccer games to create chances to experience body mechanics and motor functioning in a playful environment with their peers. If you have a passion for fitness, excellent with young athletes, and a desire to help others fall in love with Soccer, we want to hear from you.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct personal training sessions local preschool and elemetary schools, as well as community classes through the Recreation Center
- Provide guidance and support to kids during sessions, ensuring proper form and body mechanics while creating a fun atmosphere
Skills:
- Outgoing personality and an ability to help kids imagine scenarios to engage them
- Strong understanding of different developmental needs of ages of children and how to engage different age groups
- In-depth knowledge of body mechanics, physical education, physiology
- Experience in group fitness or sports coaching is a plus
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to motivate and inspire kids to try different activities
- Strong organizational skills
