```Job Summary```
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Case Manager to join our team. As a Case Manager, you will be responsible for providing support and guidance to Mobile Drug Court (MDC) clients. This position is thru Mobile County Community Corrections Center, is responsible for the direct supervision of the Mobile Drug Court participants compliance with the program. Including implementation of the appropriate supervision level based on established treatment assessments, providing community service referrals for non-compliance, and acts as a liaison between Mobile Drug Court participants and Mobile Drug Court Judge while monitoring the day-to-day activities.
```Responsibilities```
· Case manager acts as liaison between MDC client and MDC Judge.
· Supervises weekly drug test results and requests any sanctions from MDC Judge that are appropriate.
· Distributes weekly Punitive Community Service (PCSW) as needed for failure to meet financial obligation. All other PCSW comes from requests to the judge.
· Case Manager assists MDC client with any personal problems they may be facing while in MDC.
· Case Manger is responsible for making sure case management system is updated as needed in regards to any changes or updates with a client.
· Case Manager supervises monthly reporting with MDC client.
· If a client is AWOL for any reason, it is Case Manager’s duty to request writ of arrest.
· Case Manager conducts monthly orientation for new MDC clients.
· Case Manager is responsible for entering notes on each client for status review dates.
· Case Manager attends court bi-weekly for client status reviews.
· Case Manager attends court monthly for MDC Pleas.
· Case Manager attends all other court hearings as needed.
· Case Manager is responsible for entering all notes after any court proceeding
· Case Manager is responsible for making sure all graduation application packets are complete and submitted to the Judge for review.
· If a client is in need of additional care at any time, it is Case Manager’s responsibility to get client placed in an in-treatment facility program.
```Experience```
- Bachelor's degree in a related field
- Previous experience in judicial system is preferred
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with diverse populations
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Proficient in crisis management techniques
