Introduction
As an IBM Application Architect, you directly help clients transform their business and solve complex problems. You will define the scope and vision for projects that deliver customized solutions using your knowledge of IBM platforms. You are a technical leader, serving as a liaison among business partners, technical resources, and project stakeholders.

Your Role and Responsibilities
The Senior SAP Project Manager provides business, technical, and personnel management to subordinate groups of technical and administrative personnel across multiple disciplines such as engineering, programming, and systems development. They are responsible for the overall, day-to-day management of a specific task order or group of task orders affecting the same or related/interdependent systems. They schedule and assign work to subordinates and subcontractors, monitor progress, and resolve discrepancies to ensure compliance with work/quality standards and contract/task order requirements. They ensure that the technical solutions and schedules in the task order(s) are implemented within estimated time frames and budget constraints.

This position requires the ability to obtain a Secret Security clearance or higher

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

• 6 or more years of technical experience managing system integration, design, development, testing, implementation, integration, operations and/or program management of complex computer systems and/or computer facilities operation.
• 3 or more years of DoD experience
• Experience in staffing, organization and integration, and knowledge transfer
• Experience working collaboratively with SAP functional/technical teams for issue resolution
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Math, Business or other related scientific or technical discipline. An additional 4 years of demonstrated project management experience may be substituted for a Bachelor’s degree.
• Must have or be able to obtain a Secret DoD clearance - US citizenship required

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise

• 3 years of Navy ERP experience
• Familiar with Navy and/or DoD IT architectures
• Experience leading Tier 2 Business Offices
• SAP production support experience
• Knowledgeable of a help desk I/T support system and metrics reporting
• Knowledgeable of interface monitoring and error handling processes
• Experience in the software development lifecycle in a Tier 2 environment surrounding requirements gathering, analysis, design, development, documentation, test (unit, functional, integration, regression, stress, and user acceptance), implementation, and post production support of standard and custom business solutions supporting various SAP modules

The salary will vary depending on your job-related skills, experience and location. Pay increment and frequency of pay will be in accordance with employment classification and applicable laws. For part time roles, your compensation and benefits will be adjusted to reflect your hours. Benefits may be pro-rated for those who start working during the calendar year.
