Sarbanes Oxley Analyst implements and coordinates an organization's auditing strategy and activities for regulatory compliance. Deploys internal controls, best practices, and strategies to identify process deficiencies and implement improvements. Being a Sarbanes Oxley Analyst gathers, analyzes, and consolidates data for required regulatory reporting to fulfill content and scheduling requirements. Supports external regulatory inspections and internal audits and may coordinate document reviews, protocol reviews, validation reviews, and training programs as part of auditing processes. Additionally, Sarbanes Oxley Analyst maintains and updates a knowledge base or information system of the financial regulations, required processes, and industry/regulatory agency standards that govern a business or a product. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager. The Sarbanes Oxley Analyst work is generally independent and collaborative in nature. Demonstrate an understanding of all processes and policies within our department
Develop, analyze, and maintain statistics to identify staffing trends
Interpret data and communicate findings
Perform reviews of trends, make recommendations, and implement final solutions to improve current processes
Collaborate with internal departments and management team to implement changes
Support department in reaching goals through analysis
Monitor data to identify changes in trends, identify areas for improvement
Create reports and presentations to summarize data results
Other duties, as assigned
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in health care administration, business, or other related field preferred
Previous experience in healthcare or education is a plus
Excellent conceptual and analytical thinking skills are required, as well as the ability to communicate effectively with team
An effective communicator at all levels in the organization, with strong oral, written and persuasive skills
Interpersonal Requirements:
Maintain social, ethical and organizational norms
Achieve accomplishment of all task details, no matter how small
Maintain good personal motivation and develop a sense of ownership of job tasks and results
Must have a sense of urgency for all work performed
Ability to work under the pressure of meeting strict deadlines
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
