Sarbanes Oxley Analyst implements and coordinates an organization's auditing strategy and activities for regulatory compliance. Deploys internal controls, best practices, and strategies to identify process deficiencies and implement improvements. Being a Sarbanes Oxley Analyst gathers, analyzes, and consolidates data for required regulatory reporting to fulfill content and scheduling requirements. Supports external regulatory inspections and internal audits and may coordinate document reviews, protocol reviews, validation reviews, and training programs as part of auditing processes. Additionally, Sarbanes Oxley Analyst maintains and updates a knowledge base or information system of the financial regulations, required processes, and industry/regulatory agency standards that govern a business or a product. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager. The Sarbanes Oxley Analyst work is generally independent and collaborative in nature.     Position Overview:

    Claros Technologies is primarily focused on the research, development, scale-up, and commercialization of its PFAS destruction technology. We are seeking an Analyst to perform sample preparation and analysis for our analytical lab in accordance with identified methods and applicable ISO/IEC requirements.

    Essential Job Functions:

    • Perform lab sample preparation and final analysis
    • Conduct equipment checks
    • Maintain the equipment that is used in sample preparation and analysis
    • Participate in proficiency testing activities
    • Keep accurate records
    • Demonstrate proper use of equipment, consumables, and safety measures within the laboratory
    • Implement correct technical methods and identify any non-conforming events
    • Actively participate in group discussions on lab improvements and research brainstorming

    Experience Required:

    • Four year college degree in a scientific field or equivalent laboratory experience
    • Knowledge of chemical and environmental laboratory activities and associated equipment
    • Attention to detail with prior experience in a role requiring technical problem-solving
    • Familiarity with Shimadzu and/or Waters LCMS is preferred
    • Experience in lab work is required, experience with PFAS is preferred
    • Experience with lab information management systems is preferred
    • Familiarity with ISO 17025: 2017 is preferred


    Job Specifications

    • Compensation: $60,000 - $70,000
    • Location: In person at the Claros Headquarters in Minneapolis, Minnesota.

    This role may require employees to sit or stand for long durations, spend time typing in one location for an extended period of time, and does involve the manipulation of equipment. This role does require the ability to visually and audibly assess equipment.
