SB Financial Services Relationship Manager develops and manages banking relationships with small business customers to acquire new business, sell financial products and services and grow the portfolio. Prospects for new customers, upsell opportunities, and referrals. Being a SB Financial Services Relationship Manager develops and maintains strong relationships with referral sources. Engages with existing customers to understand their financial needs and provide suggestions for products and services that benefit small businesses throughout the business cycle. Additionally, SB Financial Services Relationship Manager serves as point of contact and advocates for customers to answer questions, resolve issues, and provide product information. Maintains an in-depth understanding of product offerings and coordinates with other areas of the bank to upsell or deliver services to customers. Monitors and maintains assigned portfolio to ensure appropriate risk profile. Follows all regulatory and organizational policies and procedures. Requires a bachelor's degree or equivalent. Typically reports to a manager. The SB Financial Services Relationship Manager occasionally directed in several aspects of the work. Gaining exposure to some of the complex tasks within the job function. To be a SB Financial Services Relationship Manager typically requires 2 -4 years of related experience. This is a remote position available to anyone licensed to produce and service insurance in the US. This role will give you the opportunity to work independently and in a fast-paced, dynamic team environment. You will work to develop, manage, and expand relationships with current clients and pursue new business opportunities with prospective clients. The ideal candidate will have excellent relationship building skills, is self-motivated, and highly competitive.


    Your attitude and coach-ability will lead to success in this role and future roles in the Agency. The position will require meeting and talking to new people, focusing on graciously assisting them with their insurance needs or problems. You will always remain courteous, keep a professional manner, learn all the position responsibilities, leverage the Agency mission and seek help whenever necessary!


    Job Duties:


    • Provide consistent, accurate and timely communication to clients through verbal and written correspondence
    • Call new and existing insureds for cross sell opportunities, quote and bind personal lines policies and retain accounts to deepen relationships with our client
    • Inform and educate clients about coverage, exclusions and exposures, document electronic files accordingly
    • Respond to clients’ needs by producing binders, certificates, policies and other related items
    • Maintain client files in our Agency Management System for processing all transactions
    • Process daily incoming mail, emails, voice mails and faxes
    • follow up to ensure timely responses
    • Renew policies by agency standards
    • Maintain client files accurately and consistently documenting conversations
    • Adhering to all other automation procedures
    • Handle cancellations with care, saving all accounts possible with adherence to E&O guidelines

    Minimum Requirements:


    • 1 Year of Insurance, customer service and or sales experience.
    • Active Property and Casualty Insurance License for California and/or Nevada
    • Ability to organize, prioritize and self-manage workload.
    • Ability to work in a team environment, with a positive attitude and willingness to help others.
    • Able to work under pressure and time constraints.
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
