The primary purpose of this position is to assist Northland Area Federal Credit Union in living out its Service Mission, “To be our members’ most trusted financial partner”. The Business Development Officer is responsible for establishing, cultivating and strengthening long-term business relationships and developing new deposit and loan relationships. Supports branch managers as necessary to meet growth goals. Provide feedback and recommendations for business products and services to improve the Credit Union’s competitive advantage while promoting financial stability. Work directly with existing business membership on a regular basis to analyze credit risk, as well as, mentor owners if needed with their business plan.
