SBA Regional Sales Manager manages a team of lending officers that generate Small Business Administration (SBA) government-guaranteed loans and lines of credit. Develops relationships with a network of financial professionals and other referral sources to identify prospects. Being a SBA Regional Sales Manager engages with clients to ensure their ongoing needs are addressed and to understand the broader needs of the small business community in the region. Regularly monitors and reviews the current SBA loan portfolio to identify issues. Additionally, SBA Regional Sales Manager maintains an up-to-date knowledge of SBA products, rules, and regulations. Establishes operational processes that conform with SBA SOP guidelines. Provides coaching, training, and development opportunities for banking officers on the team. Requires a bachelor's degree in finance, business or equivalent. Typically reports to a director. The SBA Regional Sales Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. Position Overview
The Regional Sales Manager for the South Region is responsible for managing and developing a team of Territory Account Managers. This leader will be accountable for achieving the regional sales growth and profitability goals. This role provides direction and leadership to the field sales team while being responsible for customer satisfaction within the Regional geography.
What you'll do
Lead, coach and develop Territory Account Managers in order to drive revenue within designated region.
Provide coaching, feedback, support, and motivation to assist team in exceeding their sales goals and objectives.
Responsible for maintaining trusting and strong key relationships with big box partners and supporting sales strategy.
Assisting in hiring, training and developing TAM's, and supporting high performing team principles.
Deliver consistent and timely communication to the sales team concerning team objectives and responsibilities.
First escalation point within Sales and Regional organization for all sales related issues.
Setup, maintain, and modify sales targets (territory, industry, etc.) and provide comprehensive analysis and alignment decisions.
Partner with Director of Sales to establish annual and quarterly goals for the region
Prepare for and contribute to regular sales meetings
All other duties as assigned
Who you are
Bachelor's Degree in Business or related field
Minimum 3 years sales management experience in consumer goods, retail or a related industry.
Must have experience managing a field sales team
Results oriented with demonstrated business skills related to goal setting,
Good interpersonal skills with the ability to develop and sustain successful business relationships internally and externally.
Computer Literacy including Microsoft Office Word, Excel and PowerPoint
Proficient in CRM software, Salesforce is a plus
Required Travel: Ability to travel 8-12 days overnight per month; regular driving for extended periods of time.
