SBA Regional Sales Manager manages a team of lending officers that generate Small Business Administration (SBA) government-guaranteed loans and lines of credit. Develops relationships with a network of financial professionals and other referral sources to identify prospects. Being a SBA Regional Sales Manager engages with clients to ensure their ongoing needs are addressed and to understand the broader needs of the small business community in the region. Regularly monitors and reviews the current SBA loan portfolio to identify issues. Additionally, SBA Regional Sales Manager maintains an up-to-date knowledge of SBA products, rules, and regulations. Establishes operational processes that conform with SBA SOP guidelines. Provides coaching, training, and development opportunities for banking officers on the team. Requires a bachelor's degree in finance, business or equivalent. Typically reports to a director. The SBA Regional Sales Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. To be a SBA Regional Sales Manager typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1 - 3 years supervisory experience may be required. GENERAL POSITION SUMMARY:
This is an advanced level outside sales position that exists to grow Orenco Controls business. This position is responsible for the oversight, development, and implementation of a regional sales and marketing strategy. The Regional Sale Manager provides comprehensive support for Orenco distributors and dealers in their assigned region and for OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturing) partners in their development of new controls business. The Regional Sales Manager evaluates market data: identifying new distributors and dealers and communicating market information to the Sales Manager-ECP through periodic reports. Advanced technical knowledge is required as well to provide proper information for controls equipment installation, usage, and maintenance while providing quality customer service in all interactions. May also periodically troubleshoot system problems and represent Orenco Controls at trade association meetings and shows.

EDUCATION:
A BS in Electrical Engineering is preferred. A four-year degree in a technical course of study or comparable work experience in both a sales and engineering environment is acceptable.

WORKING CONDITIONS:
Primarily home or office environment with occasional exposure to outside elements when traveling or conducting field work. Travel requirements will include operation of a motor vehicle, airplane travel, and overnight stays in temporary lodging. Includes exposure to outside weather conditions when at customer sites.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Regular job duties include seeing, speaking, hearing, reading, writing, keyboarding, prolonged periods of sitting including extended time viewing a computer screen. Intermittent physical activity including standing, walking, kneeling, climbing stairs and ladders, reaching, pushing, pulling, grasping, holding, bending, twisting, stooping, squatting, driving, and occasional light lifting of under 20 lbs. May also include occasional unassisted lifting of up to 50 lbs., occasionally up to 70 lbs. Lifting over 70 lbs. must be assisted. Airplane travel and operation of a motor vehicle with the ability to visit project sites that are situated on a variety of developed and undeveloped terrain/locations, is and/or may be required.
