P6 Scheduler
C M Pros has an immediate opening for a scheduler with 5-10 years of experience. The scheduler will be supporting the programmatic scheduling for the overall Capital Improvement Program (CIP). Tasks will be both Program-related for the overall Capital Improvement Program (CIP) and project-related working alongside the client staff.
Primary Responsibilities:
A. Program Level:
The scheduler will work closely with the project managers to develop and maintain the schedule baseline and the monthly updates.
1) Coordinate date collection, review and report on high-level scope and schedule status for the overall CIP.
2) Identify and analyze dependencies and interfaces between Projects and other operational activities.
3) Produce monthly program schedule deliverables such as schedule interface reports, schedule spotlight and self-selected milestones report.
4) Provide recommendations to manage program risks and make informed decisions.
5) Support Unifier integration efforts and consistency of data unput into Unifier.
6) Setup and coordinate standard reporting criteria and deadlines for all projects within the CIP.
7) Contribute in developing training materials and presentations for the overall CIP.
B. Project Level
1) Work alongside project teams in schedule development, monitoring, and acceptance.
2) Perform quality assurance of individual CIP Project schedules and assist the teams in enhancing consistency and accuracy of all the scheduling information.
3) Maintain accurate track of resource loading and expenses. Resolve variances with actual costs.
4) Engage with staff and partners to uniformly exchange information related to schedules and risks.
5) Support CIP project teams to ensure that schedule reports meet the client’s reporting and formatting requirements.
6) Support project teams in practicing proactive scheduling techniques.
C) Qualifications and Experience Requirements:
1) Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture (or related field) Degree and 5-10 years of CPM scheduling experience on a major construction program.
2) Strong organizational skills with a proven track record of attention to detail and impeccable follow-through of open actions.
3) Strong interpersonal skills including excellent written and verbal communication skills.
4) Enthusiastic and collaborative individual with the ability to work under pressure in a highly dynamic environment.
5) Able to work independently and as part of a team with flexibility to adjust to changing priorities.
6) Extensive working experience with Primavera P6 and resource loading tap templates,
7) Advance MS Office Excell Skills and some Unifier experience.
8) Familiarity with Project Management Information Systems (PMIS) and other Cost Management tools.
9) Experience with Utilities Projects.
10) Prior experience with multi-billion-dollar programs or portfolio management
11) AACE Certification.
