Scheduler develops, prepares, and maintains production schedules to guide the production activities and resources that achieve maximum efficiency and meet output and timeline objectives. Gathers data from internal teams to incorporate materials, inventories, resource availability, and delivery commitments into schedules. Being a Scheduler monitors daily production results and revises scheduling responsive to changes in the flow of materials, designs, equipment, or other resources. Utilizes ERP systems, planning and scheduling software, or other database tools to develop and maintain master schedules and generate reporting. Additionally, Scheduler typically requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager. The Scheduler work is closely managed. Job summary:
The Scheduler is responsible for scheduling a proper/experienced CNA/PCA with the client. The Scheduler is under supervision of the RN Supervisor and will assure that 100% coverage of all clients is attained 24 hours per day.
Primary Functions of Job:
Under supervision and advisement of the Scheduler Supervisor , Scheduler will be concerned with 100% placement of care in the homes of elderly and disabled adults and children.
Essential job functions:
*100% staffing of clients
*Responsible for placement of quality aides with clients; commensurate experience
*Responsible for scheduling & adjusting scheduling of aides
*Act as liaison between all consumers, to include Aides, Clients and Co-Workers.
*Ability to administer basic home care aid to clients.
*Other duties as assigned.
Minimum requirements
Two or more years of experience customer service and/or long term care, nursing home, or home health. Prefer some medical office setting experience. A degree, with courses related to area of employment, may be substituted for experience.
Abilities required:
Excellent organizational skills required; must be able to make sound decisions and function independently; in a 24/7 “on call status” and able to fill in or meet basic needs of clients in cases of emergency; capable of interviewing potential candidates for PCA positions.
