Title: Bus Driver
Qualifications:
Must be at least 18 years old. Must have a valid Class B CDL with passenger and air brake endorsements. Must be certified and licensed by the South Carolina Department of Education. Must have a good driving record. (No more than 4 points against the license.) Must have 10 hours of driving experience under the supervision of an experienced driver. Must pass a drug test and criminal background checks. Must demonstrate aptitude or competence for assigned responsibilities.

Essential Functions:
In addition to the physical and mental capabilities implied by the responsibilities detailed above, the essential functions of a Bus Driver include the following: reading, writing, hearing and speaking effectively, occasionally lifting/moving items weighing 50 pounds, physical demands related to the operation of a school bus wherein one is required to drive, operate a handbrake and other bus controls.
