Title: Middle School Principal

Qualifications: Must be certified in Leadership, 3 years of successful school leadership experience recommended, and acceptable FBI background check/GA criminal history.

Job Details:

A Principal is in charge of his respective school and is responsible in all matters of administration, supervision, and organization in accordance with the approved policies of the Board of Education and the Superintendent.

The principal has the total responsibility for phases of school administration in his/her school with specific duties as follows:

1. Establishes and maintains an effective learning climate in the
2. Programs classes within established guidelines to meet students'
3. Establishes guidelines for proper student conduct and maintains student
4. Plans, organizes, and directs implementation of all school
5. Established and maintained favorable relationships with local community groups and individuals.
6. Coordinates and supervises maintenance, security, food services, programs, financial and accounting functions, and media
7. Orients newly assigned staff members and assists in their development, as
8. Assumes leadership in the direction of the school's extracurricular
9. Evaluate and counsel all staff members regarding their individual and group
10. Prepares or supervises the preparation of reports, records, lists, and all other paperwork required or appropriate to the school's
11. Prepares and submits the school's budgetary request and monitors expenditures of
12. Enforces administrative policies, rules and
13. Attends special events to recognize student achievement, school-sponsored activities, and functions.
14. Conducts staff
15. Keep the superintendent and superintendent's staff informed of the school's activities and problems.
16. Keeps abreast of changes and developments in the profession by attending professional meetings.
17. Initiates, designs, and implements programs to meet and enhance specific schools.
18. Performs all other duties as assigned.
