School Superintendent jobs in Chattanooga, TN

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Plumbing Superintendent to join our construction team.

As a Superintendent, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of construction projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and in accordance with safety regulations.

Pay is up to $42/hour, Per diem is $130 if you are not local to the job location.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and supervise all on-site construction activities, including subcontractors and laborers
• Coordinate and schedule project tasks, ensuring efficient workflow and adherence to project timelines
• Monitor project progress and quality, making adjustments as necessary to ensure successful completion
• Collaborate with project managers, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure project specifications are met
• Read and interpret blueprints and construction documents to ensure accurate implementation of design plans
• Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and maintain a safe working environment for all personnel

Skills:

• Strong leadership skills with the ability to effectively manage a diverse team
• Knowledge of blueprint reading and construction estimating techniques
• Familiarity with OSHA regulations and commitment to maintaining a safe work environment
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
• Strong problem-solving abilities with the ability to make quick decisions under pressure
• Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
