Shift Hours: 8:00am – 5:00pm (Mon – Fri)

A typical day for our Manufacturing Operator II involves efficiently picking and packing orders, supporting the manufacturing team of staging and distribution of materials in production, utilizing tugger experience to transport materials, and adhering to specific packaging requirements for frozen perishable items. This role also entails supporting manufacturing processes by staging materials, using computer systems like SAP to view and process orders, and maintaining accurate inventory records.
A day in the Life:
- Efficiently pick items from inventory shelves according to order specifications.
- Safely and securely pack items into appropriate containers, ensuring they are correctly labeled and prepared for shipment.
- Utilize tow motors/forklifts to transport materials and products throughout the warehouse.
- Perform manual order picking tasks as needed, including locating items within the warehouse, verifying quantities, and preparing orders for shipment.
- Assist in the management of order fulfillment processes, including organizing and prioritizing orders, ensuring timely completion, and communicating any issues or discrepancies to supervisors.
- Adhere to specific packaging requirements for frozen perishable items, ensuring proper handling and storage to maintain product integrity.
- Assist in setting up for manufacturing processes by staging media and materials for operators. Coordinate with production teams to ensure timely availability of required materials.
- Use the SAP system to view orders and process them efficiently.
Keys to Success:
Education
- Minimum High School Diploma or equivalent required.
Experience
- 1 years’ experience in manufacturing or warehouse environment preferred.
- Picking and/or Packing experience
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities
- Previous experience in a warehouse environment, particularly in order picking and packing roles.
- Ability to safely operate Power Industrial Trucks or Tuggers with tow motors/forklifts preferred
- Basic computer skills for order management and inventory tracking.
- Familiarity with SAP system or willingness to learn.
- Listen to, follow, and relay written and verbal instructions in English
