Job Summary

Our Novi, MI location is adding a Scrum Master working within an Agile development team responsible for ensuring the team follows the Agile methodology and Scrum framework. The Scrum Master is responsible for guiding the team through the development process, facilitating communication, and helping to remove any impediments to progress. 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Serve as the Scrum Master for one or more Agile development teams.
• Facilitate all Scrum ceremonies (daily stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and retrospectives) and ensure that the team adheres to the Agile methodology.
• Coach the team on Agile practices and principles and help them to continuously improve.
• Identify and help remove any impediments to progress that may be preventing the team from meeting their sprint goals.
• Collaborate with the Product Owner to ensure that the product backlog is well-groomed and prioritized.
• Communicate progress, impediments, and risks to the larger organization.

Qualifications and/or Experience

• A master’s degree in computer science, electrical engineering, or a related field is required.
• Embedded development using C
• Strong knowledge and experience with Agile methodologies, specifically Scrum.
• Ability to lead, coach, and motivate teams in an Agile environment.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Familiarity with Agile tools such as IBM ELM.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
