TITLE:  Machining Manager

ENVIRONMENT:  CNC Precision Machining and Die Casting

LOCATION:  Salt Lake City, Utah area

REPORTS TO:  General Manager

COMPENSATION RANGE:  Competitive Base Salary plus companywide bonus program

DEGREE REQUIREMENTS:  High School Diploma or above

RELOCATION ALLOWANCE:  Yes

LEADERSHIP EXPERIENCE:  5-10 Years

POSITION SUMMARY:  As the Machining Operations Lead, you will be a key player in driving our shop to optimal performance. Your critical eye for detail and passion for accuracy will ensure all parts meet quality requirements before they are delivered to our customers. You'll supervise personnel during set-ups while inspiring team members with your keen problem-solving skills as we strive to reach challenging time standards together!

 As Technical Leader, you will have the opportunity to share your hard-earned wisdom and expertise and guide others on their journey in machining. You'll be a mentor, equipping them with crucial fundamentals for success.

This position requires an organized and analytical leader with a passion for streamlining operations. As Set-Standards Master, you will be responsible for developing standards to maximize programming efficiency and improve changeover times. Additionally, ensuring software instructions (SWIs) are documented is essential in providing successful job runs. Keep projects on schedule and complete parts successfully; It May also require troubleshooting from time to time.

MUST HAVE:

Required:

• Tool making experience (10 years)
• Machining experience (10 years)
• Project management experience (2 years)
• Programming experience (10 years)

Desired:

• CAD/CAM (Solid Works / GibbsCAM / Mastercam) experience.
• GD&T knowledge.
• Aerospace quality experience (AS9100)
• ISO9001 experience
