Job DescriptionThe ideal candidate for this position is a self-driven individual with a passion for manufacturing. Responsible for running equipment such as In Circuit Test, Router, Selective Solder, Conformal Coating and Programming. This position is at the heart of the assembly process. This position is Monday-Friday, second shift. Appareo promotes a casual, fun and clean working environment.Qualifications- High school education, or up to six months related experience or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Good eye/hand coordination (can work with small parts and assemblies).
- Ability to read and speak English fluently.
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as work instructions and procedure manuals.
Responsibilities- Operate equipment in the Secondary Operations area.
- Ready the machine and run jobs until complete as indicated by production schedule.
- Tend to machines by quickly and efficiently loading and unloading, entering programs into automated machinery, setting up support fixtures, and prepping multiple assembly lines for next shop order.
- Inspect populated boards to ensure components are in correct location and orientation per work instructions.
- Troubleshooting component placement and machine issues.
- Perform preventative maintenance on equipment.
- Determine ways to constantly improve safety, quality and productivity.
- Maintain components in stocking locations as required, promptly returning after each use and always observing proper ESD, MSL, and contamination prevention handling practices.
- Observe safe production practices by only operating machines with all safety doors closed and with all safety guards in place.
