    Responsibilities include:

    • Administer Resource Access Control Facility (RACF) security (user account creation, deletion, add/remove access, etc.).
    • Creation of Security Groups, General Resource Profiles, and Dataset Profiles while using the concept of “least privilege required"
    • Assist with Mainframe product installs, upgrades, certificate renewals and disaster recovery planning.
    • Work with various business units, project teams and vendors to address security concerns by identifying requirements, interviewing stakeholders, evaluating existing processes and alternatives, and presenting findings
    • Execute comparisons between users' ids using zSecure comparison tool.
    • Review daily violation reports and address as necessary
    • Preparation and participation in various internal & external audits related to access controls.
    • Provide On-Call support for mainframe related access issues
    • Perform other related duties as required

    The base salary range for this position is $87,000 - $114,000. Actual base salaries vary based on skills, experience, and geographical location. In addition to base pay, Equitable provides compensation to reward performance with base salary increases, spot bonuses, and short-term incentive compensation opportunities. Eligibility for these programs depends on level and functional area of responsibility.

    Qualifications


    Required Qualifications:

    • Minimum 2 years of RACF experience
    • Strong working knowledge of RACF mainframe security administration required
    • Experience working on IBM z/OS operating system
    • Experience working with TSO (Time Sharing Option) including ISPF and SDSF
    • CICS (IBM’s Customer Information and Control System)
    • Understanding of Security Principles and access controls

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Prior experience working in financial services or other highly regulated industry
    • Advanced knowledge of RACF structure and capabilities
    • Demonstrated security planning skills
    • Familiarity with Identity & Access Management processes (account provisioning, adding, modifying, and removing access)
    • Experience with audit and the RACF security review processes
    • Ability to work independently and in a team environment

    Agile Methodologies: Knowledge of concept and principles of agile methodology; ability to apply appropriate agile approaches in the processes of software development and delivery.

    Confidentiality: Knowledge of practices and policies governing disclosure of information about the organization, its business activities, and employees; ability to apply this knowledge appropriately to diverse situations.

    Industry Knowledge: Knowledge of the organization's industry group, trends, directions, major issues, regulatory considerations, and trendsetters; ability to apply industry knowledge appropriately to diverse situations.

    Information Security Management: Knowledge of the processes, tools and techniques of information security management; ability to deploy and monitor information security systems, while detecting, controlling and preventing violations of IT security.
