Lake County is seeking a Network Security Administrator with a track record of implementing network security best practices at the enterprise level. This position is responsible for network security, troubleshooting network access, and implementing security policies and procedures at our organization. Responsibilities include recommending enhancements, identifying areas of weakness, and responding promptly to possible security breaches.
To be a successful Network Security Administrator, you should be meticulous and detail-oriented, with excellent technical and information security skills. You should be skilled at drafting and understanding security policies and training less technically skilled employees to be security conscious.
Depending on the assignment, the incumbent may perform a combination of some or all of the following duties, and perform related duties as assigned:

Requires mainly office work, involving standing or walking some of the time, exerting up to 10 pounds of force on a regular basis, and high dexterity operating in front of a computer monitor for more than six (6) hours possible. The position requires normal visual acuity and field of vision and the ability to hear and speak to understand, respond to and build relationships with a diverse clientele.
