The Corporate Safety & Security Senior Analyst compiles data and analyzes results of audits, inspections, daily logs, and incident reports to assess security vulnerabilities, measure program effectiveness, and identify the need for additional resources. Administers, coordinates, and evaluates security programs that support the strategy, policies, and standards established for the physical safety of all visitors, employees, or customers to the organization's facilities and the security of property and assets. Being a Corporate Safety & Security Senior Analyst assists with the development of training, education programs, and communications on security policies and topics to ensure staff is prepared for potential security issues, crisis response, disaster recovery, evacuation, workplace violence, and other emergency events. Coordinates any required security clearance processing or investigative research for employees or job candidates with applicable entities. In addition, Corporate Safety & Security Senior Analyst monitors communications and stays informed about local, state, provincial, or federal security-related information, directives, and events. May coordinate or assist with investigations and critical event responses in coordination with law enforcement and other officials. Understands law enforcement methods, tactics, and procedures. Typically requires a bachelor's degree or equivalent. Typically reports to a head of a unit/department. Being a Corporate Safety & Security Senior Analyst work is highly independent. May assume a team lead role for the work group. A specialist on complex technical and business matters.     Ignite is currently seeking a driven, detail-oriented Security Analyst to join our team supporting Analytic and Engineering Mission Support Service Contract, White Sands Missile Range, NM. This position is expected to be on-site.


    Responsibilities include:

    • Duties related to personnel security, physical security, force protection, security awareness training and operations security.
    • Develop and write Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) for security related tasks.
    • Perform daily security inspections.
    • Ensure the deployment and training of all personnel.
    • Conduct research on security regulations and ensure facility is compliant with the most up to date regulations and procedures.
    • Collaborate with the Security Manager on security projects and reports



    Job Requirements:


    Job Requirements and Qualifications:

    • Knowledge of security concepts
    • Experience in developing Security and internal-team SOP.
    • Experience in analyzing and mitigating security risk factors.
    • Experience in physical, personnel, and operational security processes and procedures
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
    • Ability to identify, control, and protect critical information
    • Ability to communicate effectively.
    • Strong experience in MS Word and Excel.

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • All-inclusive knowledge of DA and DOD regulations, directives and other regulations and policies concerning a wide range of security issues.
    • Ability to apply analysis and risk management in accordance with regulatory guidance.
    • Knowledge of a variety of state-of-the-art security equipment and devices in planning and implementing security procedures.
    • Ability to communicate orally to advise management on security issues and to conduct security awareness and other security education training programs.
    • Ability to prepare high quality reports and SOP, document security findings and make recommendations to specific problems.
    • Ability to navigate through a database/interface (DISS) for data entry
    • Ability to optimize security processes and procedures.
    • Security and Intelligence background/experience desired.

    Security Clearance Requirements:

    • Must have an active Top Secret Clearance or the ability to obtain one.

    Education Requirements:

    • A combination of 2 years of experience and higher education from an accredited college or university in a security related field

    Desired Education/Certification/Training:

    • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university
    • Security Fundamentals Professional Certification
    • Any additional Security Professional Education Development Certifications

    Other Requirements:

    • Must be a US citizen and be able to obtain and hold an active Security Clearance
    • Achieve within two years of hire the Security Fundamentals Professional Certification
