The Corporate Safety & Security Senior Analyst compiles data and analyzes results of audits, inspections, daily logs, and incident reports to assess security vulnerabilities, measure program effectiveness, and identify the need for additional resources. Administers, coordinates, and evaluates security programs that support the strategy, policies, and standards established for the physical safety of all visitors, employees, or customers to the organization's facilities and the security of property and assets. Being a Corporate Safety & Security Senior Analyst assists with the development of training, education programs, and communications on security policies and topics to ensure staff is prepared for potential security issues, crisis response, disaster recovery, evacuation, workplace violence, and other emergency events. Coordinates any required security clearance processing or investigative research for employees or job candidates with applicable entities. In addition, Corporate Safety & Security Senior Analyst monitors communications and stays informed about local, state, provincial, or federal security-related information, directives, and events. May coordinate or assist with investigations and critical event responses in coordination with law enforcement and other officials. Understands law enforcement methods, tactics, and procedures. Typically requires a bachelor's degree or equivalent. Typically reports to a head of a unit/department. Being a Corporate Safety & Security Senior Analyst work is highly independent. May assume a team lead role for the work group. A specialist on complex technical and business matters. Associate IT Security Analyst

    Summary: The Associate IT Security Analyst is responsible for assessing information risk and facilitating remediation of identified vulnerabilities for IT security and IT risk across the enterprise.

    • Working with the Senior IT Security Analyst, maintains systems and processes related to securing the environment.
    • Assesses information risk and facilitates remediation of identified vulnerabilities with the company network, systems, and applications.Reports on findings and recommendations for corrective action. Performs vulnerability assessments as assigned utilizing IT security tools and methodologies.
    • Performs assessments of the IT security/risk posture within the IT network, systems, and software applications, in addition to assessments within the Vendor Management Program.
    • Facilitates and monitors the performance of risk remediation tasks, changes related to risk mitigation & reports on findings.
    • Maintains oversight of IT and vendors regarding the security maintenance of their systems and applications.
    • The IT Security Analyst assists in all IT audits, IT risk assessments, and regulatory compliance.

    Security analysts are ultimately responsible for ensuring the company's digital assets are protected from unauthorized access. This includes securing online and on-premises infrastructures, weeding through metrics and data to filter out suspicious activity, and finding and mitigating risks before breaches occur. If a breach does occur, security analysts are often on the front line, leading efforts to counter the attack.

    Responsibilities:

    IT Security Analyst’s common duties typically include:

    • Management of IT security and IT risk (e.g., data systems, network and web) across the enterprise.
    • Identification and remediation of identified threats to users and systems.
    • Address questions from internal and external audits and examinations.
    • In conjunction with the Senior IT Security Analysts, creates policies, procedures, and standards that meet existing and newly developed policy and regulatory requirements.
    • Coordinate periodic cybersecurity tests including Pen testing, phishing drills, etc.
    • Promote awareness of applicable regulatory standards, upstream risks, and industry best practices across the company.

    This position requires regular, predictable, and timely attendance at work to meet department workload demands.

    Qualifications:

    Associate IT Security Analysts are detail-oriented individuals with strong technical expertise and multitasking skills. They thrive in an agile, fast-paced environment, and they keep abreast of innovations, regulation changes, and other industry developments.

    • Bachelor’s Degree in information Systems, Computer Science, Information Security, or related field required.
    • 4 years IT security or information security experience with a proven ability to generate reports for Senior Management and regulators.
    • 4 years’ experience conducting IT compliance assessments (PCI, etc.)
    • 4 years’ experience in administering IT security controls in an organization.
    • Knowledge of technical infrastructure, networks, databases, and systems concerning IT Security and IT Risk.
    • Experience with IPS/IDS and SIEM technologies.
    • Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), or related certification a plus.
    • Windows workstation and Windows/Linux server administration experience preferred.
    • Prior experience performing security reviews and risk assessments preferred.

    Tools of the Trade

    An IT Security Analyst should be familiar and comfortable with:

    • Well-known tools such as Nessus, Crowdstrike, ArcSight, ManageEngine, Trend Micro, Windows Defender, etc.
    • Knowledge of Windows enterprise systems
    • Knowledge of Linux enterprise systems
    • Knowledge of Azure AD
    • Knowledge of Cisco, F5, and Palo Alto networking products.

    Location Requirements:

    Preference will be given to candidates within commuting distance of our Temple, TX, Dallas, TX or North Sioux City, SD offices. Highly qualified remote candidates are welcome to apply.

    Physical Demands:

    While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit. The employee is frequently required to use hands for keyboarding and telephone operation. The employee is occasionally required to walk, stand and reach with arms. The employee must regularly lift or move 45 pounds. Ability to communicate with peers and supervisors via telephone and in person. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and the ability to adjust focus.

    Work Environment:

    While performing the duties of this job, the employee works in ambient room temperatures with lighting and traditional office equipment as found in a typical office environment.
