JOB SUMMARY:
As an IT Finance Specialist at Securitas, your primary objective will be to lead the financial processes for the IT Department within the North America Infrastructure Organization. You will partner with cross-functional stakeholders, across IT, Finance, and North America Business Units to enable process efficiency, alignment and accuracy related to vendor management, cost accounting and license allocation. Invoice Processing:
• Manage the end-to-end process of invoice processing related to IT expenses, including verification, validation, and approval of vendor invoices.
• Collaborate with IT teams, procurement, and vendors to resolve discrepancies and ensure timely payment.
• Continuously seek more efficient and streamlined ways to manage vendor invoices, with a focus on reducing processing time and costs.
• Implement and improve invoice automation systems or software tools where appropriate to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
Spend Analysis:
• Conduct thorough spend analysis of IT-related expenses, including hardware, software, services, and other IT investments.
• Identify spending trends, patterns, and anomalies to make data-driven recommendations for cost optimization.
Spend Control:
• Develop and implement spend control measures to ensure that IT expenses are within budget and aligned with the company's financial objectives.
• Work closely with IT teams to track and manage expenses effectively.
Trending Analysis:
• Analyze and monitor trends in IT spending over time, providing insights into the evolution of IT costs.
• Use historical data to project future spending and assist in long-term financial planning.
Hardware and Software Assessment:
• Evaluate hardware and software investments for cost-effectiveness, performance, and alignment with business needs.
• Recommend optimizations, upgrades, or cost-saving measures based on assessment findings.
Management of Telecom Expense Management Vendor:
• Collaborate with the company's telecom expense management vendor to ensure accurate billing, cost control, and optimization of telecom expenses.
• Review telecom invoices and contracts to identify discrepancies and recommend corrective actions.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AT ENTRY:
Additional qualifications may be specified and receive preference, depending upon the nature of the position.
• Prior experience or internship in Finance, Accounting, IT support or project coordination is a plus.
• Strong technical aptitude and knowledge of computer hardware, software, and networking concepts is a plus.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and familiarity with project management tools.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
• Bachelor's degree plus 5 years relevant work experience or equivalent experience sufficient to perform the essential functions of the job, as determined by the company.
