Security Guard - Armed jobs in the United States

Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated Guard to join our team. As a key member of our security team, the successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of our premises, personnel, and assets. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in security and law enforcement, with a focus on surveillance, loss prevention, and conflict management.

Responsibilities:

- Conduct regular patrols of the premises to identify potential security risks and take appropriate action to mitigate them.
- Monitor CCTV cameras to detect and prevent criminal activity, such as theft or vandalism.
- Respond to alarms, emergencies, and incidents in a timely and professional manner.
- Provide first aid and CPR services as needed.
- Maintain a high level of situational awareness and be able to think critically in high-pressure situations.
- Collaborate with other security personnel to maintain a secure and safe environment.
- Enforce policies and procedures to prevent loss and maintain a secure environment.
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development to stay up-to-date with the latest security technologies and best practices.
- Maintain a professional and courteous demeanor when interacting with employees, visitors, and other stakeholders.

Qualifications:

- A valid certificate in security or law enforcement is required.
- A strong background in security, law enforcement, or a related field is essential.
- Experience in surveillance, loss prevention, or conflict management is desirable.
- Knowledge of CCTV systems and first aid procedures is required.
- CPR certification is a plus.
- Experience working in a militarized or law enforcement environment is an asset.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication and conflict management skills are necessary.

Pay: $13.00 - $15.00 per hour
